NWA SKYWARN welcomes trained weather spotters, amateur radio operators, and community members interested in severe weather awareness.
- Complete an NWS Tulsa Spotter training class.
- Complete the basic MetEd Spotter training online course
- Sign up on Skydash (See Skydash Tab). This will add you to our roster!
- Contact leadership if you are interested in being a net control or logger
Members use Skydash as a dashboard for those in front of a PC during a net. It allows us to chat, see locations on a map, and helps save on air traffic time. It also is used to notify members of a net, and optionally weather warnings.
