Reportable Criteria

Here is the NWS Tulsa reportable cirteria for quick reference.

Report conditions that are significant, safely observed, and useful to the National Weather Service or local emergency partners. Avoid placing yourself in danger to obtain a report.

• Tornado, funnel cloud, wall cloud, or rotating lowering
• Wind damage, measured severe wind, or trees/power lines down
• Flash flooding, roads covered by water, or water entering structures
• Hail, especially quarter size or larger
• Rainfall totals when requested or when flooding is occurring
• Significant winter weather impacts, icing, or hazardous travel conditions
